Fredericksburg Pediatric and Cosmetic Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Fredericksburg, VA

We are looking for an experienced and energetic dental assistant to join our team!
X-ray certified (a must) experienced (preferred, but willing to train) dental assistant who can adapt to a busy day while still maintaining attention to detail.
Providing patients with oral hygiene instructions (reviewing gingivitis and periodontal disease process.)
Providing prophylactic and fluoride treatments.
Charting perio and treatments in the patient record.
Taking and developing diagnostic dental x-rays on children and adults.
Assisting with all dental procedures including crowns, root canals, extractions, and PSSC's. Four-handed dentistry is a bonus.
Taking impressions for nightguards.
Assisting with chart audits and scheduling.
Organizing and maintaining office inventory.
Working with nitrous oxide.
Spanish speaking is a plus.
Keeping office clean via OSHA standards.
We use Open Dental Software and Lighthouse and are EHR certified.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Dental Assistant: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Dental Assistant certification by an accredited school (Required)
  • X-Ray Certification (Required)

Work Location: In person
